TORONTO, ON – The countdown to Ontario Craft Beer Week (June 19 – 25, 2011) continues with over 70 events to date and more being added to the website each day. Below is a list of events grouped by theme, city and date.

NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE: Niagara College Teaching Brewery is raising our pints in honour of our Dads on June 19, 2011! Every Dad will enjoy complimentary specialty beer tastings and a souvenir “First Draft” beer opener.

o The Duke of Westminster/Duke of Devon/Duke of Kent/Duke of Richmond: will be celebrating Ontario Craft Beer by encouraging patrons to try a locally made beer with one of their fantastic menu options. Throughout the week there will be tastings of Muskoka beers as well as a 'signature pairing'. (All week)

o Muskoka Cottage Brewery Steamship Cruise: A four hour tour of Muskoka lakes with good craft beer, delicious food and entertainment.

NEUSTADT: Neustadt Springs Brewery is hosting an Open House on Father’s Day in Neustadt, ON

PORT CREDIT (Saturday, June 18): Old Credit Brewing Co. throws its annual Father’s Day tour and tasting with a take home gift of glassware.

· ST. THOMAS: Railway City Brewing is hosting “Bring Dad to the Brewery” in St. Thomas, ON.

· VAN KLEEK HILL: Open House at Beau's Brewery in honour of all the 'fantastic' dads out there who like to drink beer! Beau's patio will be open and we'll be serving up BBQ, beer and blasting tunes. Brewery Tours available all day and games on the patio for all ages and maturity levels! Water balloons . . .oh yeah!

· Hwy 61 in Toronto is planning something spectacular as always with local beer & BBQ specialties.

· Great Lakes IPA Triple Tap Takeover at the Rhino: a week long rotation of single, double and triple, black and belgian IPA's (June 21 -24).

· Grilling with Great Lakes at The Only Café (June 22).

· Beach BBQ & Brews Festival at Toronto’s Woodbine Park (June 17-19) will feature several craft brews, tasty food and a cool lakeside location.

· Caplansky’s Smoked Meat & Beer: Let us take you on a heavenly journey Caplansky style as one of Mill Street's brewers leads a tasting to match Mill Street's Brews with the delicious flavours of Caplansky's famous House Cured Smoked Meat (June 20)

· The Friendly Butcher goes OCB: Since we only stock the very best ingredients including properly aged premium beef and free range poultry we thought we would include the best in Ontario Craft Beer. During OCB week come in and discover what we have created using Cameron's Brewing Company's beer as an ingredient (all week).

Notes and recipes printed for you to take home. The Menu: 5 cheesy courses paired with OCB beer, ending with beer cupcakes and cream cheese icing from Sassy Lamb Cupcake Company. · OTTAWA: Beer, Cheese & Bacon? Join Clocktower Brewmaster Patrick Fiori and Jamie Kaufman from Beau’s for an evening of craft beer, cheese and meat!

· MUSKOKA: Craft Beer for Good: Throughout the duration of OCB Week, Muskoka Brewery and Lake of Bays Brewing will be donating $2 from each 12 pack sold from our respective on-site retail stores to local charities. Visit our breweries, sample our brews, pick up some beer and help benefit our communities.

· KINGSTON: Iron Duke on Wellington: Beau’s All Natural Festivale Fish Feast plus Growlers of Beau’s Festivale are available for OCB Week June 19th to June 25th.

· ST. THOMAS: Blue’s Brews & BBQ (June 18-19) at the Historic Caso Station features live music, great bbq & beer.

· GUELPH: The Cornerstone (June 21): a guided tasting of artisan cheeses paired with local craft beer, courtesy of Ouderkirk & Taylor and Wellington Brewery (June 21).

· KINGSTON: Olivea (June 23): Five fabulous artisan cheeses from Fifth Town Artisan paired with five organic brews from Beau’s All Natural Brewing Company.

· TORONTO:

· KINGSTON: OCB Trivia Night at the Queen’s University Grad Club, samples, prizes and questions developed by Mill Street Brewery.

TORONTO:

o BATTLE OF THE BREWERY BANDS: Musicians from Beau’s, Great Lakes, Mill Street and Wellington (and more) will perform at a hip downtown Toronto venue (full line-up TBC).

· CAMPBELLFORD: Tap a Mystery Firkin at the Stinking Rose Pub. Who's our favourite brewery from the Ontario Craft Brewers? Join us on to find out as we tap a Mystery Firkin of their fine beer. As always there will be great food and merriment to accompany this beery creation. (June 22)

o Highway 61 Mystery Cask: Cameron's Brewmaster Jason Britton has partnered with Highway 61 to produce a custom 1 off Cask beer that will only be available tonight. The Cask is a mystery so you need to be there to find out what he's created (June 24).

o DeSotos Nickel Brook Cabaret & Cask: Great craft beer, music, prizes, and fundraising...The 3rd "Pedallers Cabaret" is held in support of "Friends for Life Bike Rally" with musical acts, raffles, DeSotos tasty nibbles and Nickel Brook beer...come for the beer, stay for the prizes!

o Toronto craft beer mecca C’est What hosts its annual Spring Festival of Craft Breweries (June 21-25) bestowing pub goers with eighty brews over five days with a dozen new drafts and three new casks each night. Samples cost a loonie.

o Great Cooks on Eight: Beer vs. Wine Dinner - Hosted by Esther Benaim and Andrea Nicholson (from Top Chef Canada), this 6 course dinner will be paired with both Muskoka beer and Chateau des Charmes wines, with voting to decide which pairs better with each course. (June 24)

· MISSISSAUGA: Beerstock II/Battle of the Casks (June 23) will rock Mississauga as West 50 Pourhouse and Grille hosts a beer festival featuring over 50 brands from Ontario Craft Brewers.

o Meet the Mill Street Makers: Join us for a Tutored Tasting with one of Mill Street's Brewers (The Rebel House - June 21); (The Jester – June 23); (The Dizzy – June 25)

o SESSION 99 (June 25), a craft beer festival will feature 35+ craft breweries from North America in downtown T.O. Kicks off with a toast to us from Brooklyn Brewery’s renowned brewmaster Garrett Oliver.

o King Brewery Tap Takeover at The Only Café (June 24). Vienna and Dark Lagers are paired up with delish delights from the world-renowned barbeque on the backyard patio.

· CAMBRIDGE: Grand River Brewing/GRB Beer Club session (June 22); a special gathering to celebrate the brewery’s fourth anniversary with meads, ciders and fruit beers.

· Beau’s Pan-Ontario Bourbon Barrel Aged Beer: Blended beers from OCB breweries will age in bourbon barrels and be released at various OCB Week events.

· TORONTO:

o Brewing under the Stars (June 20): The new patio at Toronto’s Stout Irish Pub will double as an outdoor mini-brewery as brewers from Great Lakes, Camerons, F&M and Biergotter actively brew a collaboration beer under the stars. A previously brewed collaborative one-off will be poured.


· ETOBICOKE: Etobicoke’s Finest: The brewing masterminds at Black Oak Brewery and Great Lakes Brewery have already brewed up a special batch of beer that’s aging in all its west end glory and will be featured at Bryden’s Best of the West; a week long fest where a majority of taps will be dedicated to west end brews.


· GUELPH:

o Guelph’s Greatest: Welly and F&M Brewery are working on a collaborative beer to rock the socks off the good citizens of Guelph.

o The Albion Local Sampler: Indulge your taste buds with a sampling of Ontario craft beers. The event will feature 10 samples for $10 from some of Ontario’s most delicious craft beer.
