The Beer Store Invests in Desktop Edition of CloverETL 3.1 for Website Data Management

Vienna, VA

The Beer Store, Canada’s largest beer distributor, has selected CloverETL 3.1’s Desktop Edition to manage a major element of its website data management.

Javlin, the leader in agile data integration software, today announced the first sale of CloverETL Version 3.1 to The Beer Store (TBS), Canada’s largest beer distributor. TBS will use Clover 3.1 in an important operational IT area for data management.

Fabrizio Isabello, Project Manager of Application Development at The Beer Store stated, “Clover was so easy to use, it now only takes about 30 seconds to manage the data transformation from our legacy systems to our website, when it used to take 3 hours. The 3.1 version is something TBS will look to use in other operational areas.”

Clover 3.1 addresses many of the challenges faced by growing IT operations, across retail, banking and health vertical applications, to name a few. Clover 3.1 can now connect to and parse data from many sources such as reading and writing to Lotus Domino, IBM business collaboration software, and multiple messaging and workflow solutions. Clover 3.1 can also pull data from email servers and process emails with attachments.

“Javlin is pleased to see how Clover 3.1 fits within The Beer Store’s operational workflow,” stated Peter Cresse, Javlin’s EVP of Sales. “The CloverETL Desktop Editioncan often be the perfect package in terms of price and runtime production sizing for customers.”
