"Originally served as a real ale, Arkell Best Bitter has a loyal following. This delicate and well-balanced bitter is Wellington’s session beer."
*this beer was provided gratis from Wellington Brewery
the Look: they call is a slight copper, I prefer deep golden, either way, cascading bubbles of carbonation and an ideal lingering head on this "light" beer make it look great.
the Smell: I call some citrus and floral notes, they call grain and nuts, maybe a fruit bread then. There was a hint of hoppy notes being released as well.
the Taste: I found this beer light on the front, bitter on the back, hint of sweetness pulls through.
the Feel: this beer felt smooth, filling your mouth, without being heavy, pleasant.
Overall: this was a tasty beer, enjoyable as the bitterness mellows a tough and the hint of sweet pulls through. I would advise not drinking it straight from the fridge, but allowing it to warm a little to get the full flavour and aroma. I had it with BBQ steak and lobster, not bad, but I think Wellington has it right when they suggest fish and chips, steak pie or Cornish pastries. I'd give this beer a "B+" will definitely have it again.

Just had this for the first time last night. Best self described light beer I've ever had. Full of flavor and not at all watery. I will now be trying the rest of their range asap.
