ABV 5.5%
The Pour
This IPA pours a light amber colour. There was a white half inch head with good retention.
The Aroma
The aroma is very complex with malt, pine and grapefruit upfront. The Taste
The taste is very well balanced with a nice malt body and a great hop character coming from the Simcoe hops. This beer has a nice dry grapefruit finish and a medium mouth feel.
Overall impressions
This was a nice surprise. I usually have a hard time finding an IPA that can keep up with the Dogfish 60 min but this one comes close. I am also surprised that there is only 67 IBU's. It's is a very different IPA and worth trying. I enjoyed this even more as is warmed up a bit. I will definitely pick this up again. I would rate this a 9 out of 10.
