"Pale Ale brewed with wet hops from the local area. A harvest style Pale Ale"
The Pour
Poured from a 650mL bottle. With a deep golden yellow in colour, this beer formed about a half a finger of slightly off white head. Not a lot of carbonation present. The head dissipated quickly.
Aroma
Much more malt forward than I was expected. Biscuity and earthy on the nose. Not a huge hop profile, but some slight tangerine present.
Taste
The taste is better than the aroma. While under-carbonated, there is a decent orange fruit note, finishing with a pleasant bitterness. The malts while present are muted. A medium to full mouthfeel with the low carbonation.
Overall Impression
The more I sipped, the more pleasant this was. While not exceptional, it is relatively balanced with decent flavour. I have been underwhelmed in the past with Trafalgar, but this was a bit better. I would give it a "B-".
