Beau’s Co-Founders Finalists for Entrepreneur of the Year

Vankleek Hill, ON

Father and son Tim and Steve Beauchesne recognized for achievements in starting up Beau’s All Natural Brewing

Tim and Steve Beauchesne, co-founders of Beau’s All Natural Brewing, have been selected as Ontario finalists in the 2012 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. The awards shine the spotlight on game-changing entrepreneurs who continue to drive sustainable growth and job creation across the country. The local father-and-son duo was nominated in the “Business to Consumer Products and Services” category for the province of Ontario.

“Yahoo! There are so many awesome companies in this province doing so many cool things, it's pretty amazing and humbling to be considered one of the best,” says brewery co-founder Steve Beauchesne.
“The nomination is something that is really shared by all of the Beau’s family, friends and employees.

Operating as a team is what counts, and makes this kind of thing happen for us,” adds Steve’s father, Tim.
Award finalists are chosen based on their vision, leadership, financial success, and social responsibility. The pair was able to point to the brewery’s tremendous growth in the last 6 years, and their many accolades and awards in the application. Beau’s signature fundraising event Oktoberfest, which last year raised $60,000 for charity, and the Ottawa-based home delivery service BYBO (run by local charity Operation Come Home) were just two of the ways Beau’s was able to exemplify social responsibility.

The Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards program is in its 19th year of honouring the country’s most impression entrepreneurs from all areas of business. The Ontario winners will be announced at a banquet October 10, and the overall winner will represent the region at the national gala held in Toronto on January 16, 2013.
