Amsterdam Brewery and Arts & Crafts Collaborate On Special Beer For Field Trip Music & Arts Festival June 8

Toronto, ON

Local, independently owned and operated Amsterdam Brewery has teamed up with Canada’s leading independent music company Arts & Crafts in support of A&C’s 10th Anniversary celebration Field Trip Music & Arts Festival. The inaugural one-day event will take place June 8 at Fort York & Garrison Common and features the one-night-only return from hiatus for Broken Social Scene as well as Feist, Bloc Party, Stars, Hayden, and many more.

To commemorate this milestone, Amsterdam Brewery will create a special beer for Field Trip, enlisting A&C co-owners Jeffrey Remedios, Kevin Drew and Kieran Roy for the one-time brew that will only be available in 473ml cans and only for Field Trip.

But first, Amsterdam Brewery and Arts & Crafts need help selecting the beer’s label and name!

Starting May 1, 2013, log on to Amsterdam’s Facebook or Twitter pages to vote for your favourite label and make your name suggestions using the hashtag #fieldtripbeer. Amsterdam and Arts & Crafts will select one (1) beer name entry on May 20 to win two (2) tickets to Field Trip as well as some Amsterdam and Arts & Crafts swag.

Amsterdam x Arts & Crafts are also collaborating on a series of events around Field Trip, each featuring Amsterdam Beer and A&C artists at the A&C Pop Up (1093 Queen Street West Unit 2) with the Norman Wong x Arts & Crafts exhibit and extending through a showcase series at the same venue during NXNE 2013.
